Thank you for visiting Oxford English Tuition's home page. I am an independent tutor based in North Oxford, offering in-person or online tuition in English language and literature, as well as in the American university admissions process. In addition, I provide editorial services for a wide variety of important compositions, including research projects, manuscripts, CVs, and cover letters.

I hold a B.A. with honors in English literature and a minor in philosophy from Wheaton College, Illinois. Literature is my passion; I adore introducing students of all ages to the beauty and power of the great works of history. I can tailor tuition to students preparing for GCSEs or A-levels, either supplementing a school curriculum or providing a full curriculum for home educated students. I can also provide help with expository writing, as well as preparation for the TOEFL, "Test of English as a Foreign Language."

In addition to English tutorials, I can provide counseling for students interested in applying to American universities and assist in preparation for standardized tests, such as the SAT or GRE. Excelling at these tests, even for an exceptional student, requires specialized preparation to understand the unique aspects of the test. Having both achieved excellent SAT scores and assisted other students in improving their results, I am well-equipped to help students unfamiliar with the exam perform well.

I am also eager to assist anyone in need of editorial services for their written work, from CVs and cover letters to writing samples, large manuscripts, and research projects. If you want an extra pair of eyes to perfect an important composition, please contact me.
